On the Arno River, in the heart of Florence, rowing is much more than a sport.
It is a growth path: you learn to be part of a team, to take on responsibilities, to commit to a common goal and to build, training session after training session, more and more self-confidence.
Not just movement, therefore, but a sport with continuity, training and a sense of belonging.
📅 The courses begin on September 14, 2026 and are aimed at boys and girls aged between 8 and 13.

A NEW CHAMPION BORN AND RAISED AT THE CANOTTIERI FIRENZE ROWING SCHOOL
Canottieri Firenze is once again on top of the world! Three years after the last time—and for the umpteenth time—a red and white has won the gold medal at the World Championships. It's Giovanni Paoli, who at the Under 19 World Championships in St. Catharines, Canada, won the world title in the coxless four, one of the most important disciplines in international rowing, also known as the "Boat of the Gods," alongside Luca Cassina and Filippo Bancora from Como and Leonardo Sostegni from Livorno. Giovanni, a student of our technical director Luigi De Lucia and still in his first year in the U19 category, won the title ahead of Great Britain and China, adding the world gold to his (and Canottieri's) list of victories to the two European titles he also won in the coxless four, last year in France and this year in Poland.
